Aura quartz usually elicit one of two reactions. You either love it or hate it. Many prefer their crystals to be without any enhancements and that is perfectly understandable. Others find beauty and joy in the rainbow like colors and flashes.

The aura process, in this authors opinion, does in no way jumble up, desecrate or destroy the original chemical creation/crystal lattice that is quartz. The aura process is simply creating an additional coating of color using various metals.

Think of it as putting on a new party dress to go out on a date or dancing with your friends.

What we have here is the clarity and amplification properties that one expects from quartz with the added energies of the metal used and some amazing color energies.

Aura Quartz are usually lower grade Natural Quartz crystals that have been artificially coated with a ultra-thin metallic layer to produce an iridescent sheen. It goes through a bonding process to attach the mineral/material to the quartz. The natural quartz is colorless and clear without the coating. Various Aura Quartz names and their metallic partners are listed below. Let’s look at each.
